Properties

Valhall Duo Edition has an octagonal/round shape for optimal heat circulation, insulated with 50 mm carcinogen-free wool for your safety. It is equipped with two “1/2 doors”, one at the front and one at the back for efficient air flow and a good overview during forging. The tool is supplied with two Ragnarök 3.0 burner and regulator set - all you need is one gas adapter and gas tube.

Valhall Duo Edition is adapted for two or more blacksmiths working simultaneously from either side. The burners can also be adjusted and mounted at the desired angle, 0° alt 27°. And of course we guarantee well temperature in the Valhall Duo Edition!

WHAT SUIT YOU BEST?

0° - can be advantageous if you work with thinner, wider materials or, for example, several substances on a large surfforge.

27° - in turn can be more beneficial when dealing with taller and thicker steel. Currently, this is the most popular choice.

Remember that YOUR choice is not decisive, as you will get enough warmth in our forges regardless - we promise! And you can also change the angle afterwards.

DIVERSE

VENTILATION

Our gas forges do not really require special adapted ventilation or smoke ducts such as a coal stove, but of course no disadvantage if there is. You can basically be anywhere you want when you forge. No soot and smoke that harms your health or disturbs your neighbors. Please note! Ensure good ventilation. As is known, Gas forgess consume a lot of air/oxygen (1kg gas- 12.000 liters of air) so open a door or a window for good ventilation and flow to the room. This is often done automatically when it gets too hot in the room. The operation of the burners is also affected and optimized by good ventilation. Feel free to talk to a ventilation installer and they will help you. We also recommend one gas detector which, for a cheap price, gives you good protection in the event of gas or carbon monoxide leakage. 

VERIFY

Check at regular intervals that connections and hose etc. are tight. You can do this with soap and water or with e.g AGA Propane Leak Finder.
